“Lea-Ann helped grow my understanding of marketing exponentially. She helped my team discover what their assets are, determine their audience and what this target audience wants to hear. I haven’t experienced anyone who helps organizations bring all these components of efficient marketing in a way that is relevant for today’s social economy in the way that Lea-Ann did for us.”

Dreams can come true when we are passionate about them, but how many of us realize it all starts with writing them down?

[success]With a goal of helping people to spark a new professional dream, Sleddogg launched “the DREAM initiative”! I contacted people who I knew and people I didn’t know to find out if they had a dream of realizing aspirations beyond what they are currently doing. I challenged them to share. I gave them some fill-in-the-blank questions and challenged them to write it all down; which is actually the next step in achieving clarity. I asked them to share their dreams for a business or nonprofit idea — or a professional career.[/success]

Teresa SpanglerInternational Businesswoman Teresa Spangler – a lady who excels in taking companies through the process of ideation, formation and revenue acceleration.

With over 30 years experience as a global business consultant, Teresa Spangler has designed business models, routes to markets, company strategies as well as bridged the gap between products and services and customer purchasing behavior. Her experience includes growing companies as the entrepreneur, creating and launching new divisions, entering global markets and new market segments and executing strategies to take companies to their next level of growth.

As accomplished as Teresa is, she’s getting Serious about extending her dream beyond creating brands and start ups

Teresa Spangler’s dream: I would like to be a singer/songwriter composer and performer.

When I was little I wanted to be…. A performer/singer songwriter… I fell in love with Billy Joel during one of his first ever concerts at my college campus.  Elton John, Bruce Springsteen and later U2.. Loved a lot of female singers as well and would listen for hours playing my guitar and singing in my room to favorites.

Now that I’m grown up, my dream is….To create a wildly successful consulting practice to help others realize their dreams while we are realizing ours.  And still.. The nagging at my gut to sing (which I do in my band the Headless Chickens but this is a band pretending to be a band) so it is time for Serious play with Serious musicians.

My new dream in one word: Sing (or inspire!) if I can do it anyone can.

The challenges I am afraid of – the challenges I need to overcome: I have a terrible memory so I am working on secret ways to see my words and music without anyone knowing I need the crutch. Failure is a fear for a day as I will pick myself up and move on should that fear come true.

My DREAM date is….Anyone and everyone that can help me get there and I will guarantee unconditional support to them as well! And of course I would love to spend an evening with Bono, Sting, Bruce, Melissa Etheridge, Patty Griffin, Brandi Carlyle any of these or any other of my inspirations.

All her life Teresa has wanted to perform. She’s been honing her dream for some time, strumming and singing since she was in college. What’s different now ? She’s ready to get Serious!

ViewMore-300x259So what’s the next step? How does she find the balance of removing her neck tie to pick up the guitar? Is she working on an album right now? Or a packet of songs for a popular singer. Or an original score for a movie? I have met Teresa a few times and see her as the successful business professional she has earned the right to be called. But I just Googled her and look what I found…check her out, I’m impressed!
